Here's how to download and install MT4 for Mac that's compatible with all OS versions, including the latest one.
Step 1

Step 2
Once you've downloaded the app, drag the MetaTrader 4 icon over to the "Applications" folder to install the app.
If your Macbook is on macOS Big Sur and above (11+), you may run into the following error message, or a similar one, on your first installation attempt: "MetaTrader is damaged and can't be opened". If so, try the following instructions, which helped us fix the problem:
- Open the Terminal, which comes installed with every Mac. If you're unsure where to look, enter "Terminal" in your Mac's search bar to find the app.
- Next, copy and paste the following command into the Terminal, and remember to add a space at the very end: sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine
- Before you press "Enter", drag the MetaTrader 4 icon from the Applications folder over to the Terminal. This will automatically append the path to your MT4 installation to the previous command.
- Finally, press "Enter" to run the command and fix your MT4 installation.
- Double click on the MetaTrader 4 icon to launch the programme.

Step 3
