Future of Gold in 2020?

In the first week of 2020, we have seen much increment in gold prices and do you think it would increase more? Do you think I should consider buying more gold? Would it be a good investment? Or if the prices are going to decrease this year then should I sell gold here because according to technology experts, cryptocurrency is going to take over the world and gold wouldn't be a precious metal anymore. Waiting for your suggestions.
