FxPro supports the MetaTrader 4, 5 and cTrader platforms, alongside its own in-house FxPro platform.
MetaTrader 4 and 5
MetaTrader 4 is the longest running and most established of all trading platforms. Trade CFDs across currency pairs, crypto-currencies, indices, shares, precious metals and energy products from a single platform. MetaTrader 5 offers a wider choice of stocks and access to futures. It's also significantly faster and more responsive than its predecessor.
cTrader
cTrader is a rival platform released in 2011, around the same time as MetaTrader 5. Like MT5, cTrader offers a wider range of trading tools and indicators. However, unlike the MetaTrader platforms, cTrader uses the popular C# programming language to automate trades. MT4 and MT5 use a proprietary language called MQL, which you may find hard to learn. Last but not least, cTrader supports neither shares nor futures.
FxPro accounts
The MetaTrader 4 platform is available across all FxPro accounts. However, you should be aware that MetaTrader 5 and cTrader are only available with FxPro's Standard account. If you're unsure which account to choose, you may be relieved to learn that you can open multiple accounts with FxPro.
All FxPro accounts are available in swap-free format for clients of Muslim faith. To open a swap-free account, open an account online and contact customer support. FxPro customer support is available 24/5 by telephone, email or live chat.
